The future is bright for Grenoble University. In July 2009, as part of Operation Campus, the State pledged €400 million to the Grenoble, University of Innovation project. The project is geared towards reinforcing Grenoble’s position as an internationally renowned platform for research and higher education, based on four key themes: innovation, information, the planet and health.

The CAMPUS plan: Grenoble, University of Innovation

France launched the Campus Plan with the aim of creating education clusters with an international reach. This plan to overhaul and develop France’s universities involves the funding of six major university projects with a focus on innovation. The Grenoble, University of Innovation project was approved on 28 May 2008, receiving a portion of this exceptional funding package. More info
