The Lyon Rhône-Alpes Auvergne Canceropôle (Clara) is a network of research teams, institutions and firms involved in basic and clinical research, and technology transfer for the treatment of cancer.
The network seeks to nurture innovative interface research projects with a view to finding clinical applications for the results of basic research in biology, chemistry and physics, but also through research in human and social science. The priority for Clara's Grenoble platform is to develop proteomics, nanotechnology and functional imaging for the care of patients suffering from malignant pathologies. Grenoble's teaching hospital (CHU ) and Université Joseph Fourier (UJF ) are partners in the platform, which includes, among others, a medical proteomics plateau and an in situ molecular detection plateau. It is located on the medical campus beside the hospital.
