25% of French companies specialising in renewable energies and energy efficiency are based in the region, Over 2,500 researchers working in major research centres, 42% of national hydroelectric production, 38% of the French photovoltaic market, Rhône-Alpes is the region leader in new energy technology. The cluster Tenerrdis, Technologies Energies Nouvelles Energies Renouvelables Rhône-Alpes Drôme Isère Savoie, has 5 strategic areas:
- management and coordination of research partnership stakeholders
- forward-looking study on skills and training
- support for SMEs
- international development
- national inter-cluster coordination
Le pôle dispose d’une vision large des enjeux des Nouvelles Technologies de l’Energie en couvrant 3 domaines clés :
- construction: optimise energy production, management and consumption in new buildings and renovations,
- transport: develop clean transport systems (biofuels and fuel cells),
- energy production: develop production of renewable energies and convert them into four energy carriers: electricity, heat, biofuels and hydrogen.
Tenerrdis s’organise autour de 5 programmes intégrant l’ensemble de la filière énergétique et visant des marchés à fort potentiel :
• Renovation
• Optimisation
• Water turbines
• Multiple sources of
energy
• Smart networks
• Hydrogen production,
transport and storage
