The Vietnamese tourist group, Tung Lam Development Joint Stock, continued its collaboration with POMA by ordering the construction of two new Multix cable cars. This order extends the initial contract, which began in 2001 with the construction of two cable cars at Yen Tu, a sacred Buddhist location in Vietnam.
These latest cable cars will be comprised of Diamond and Ruby cabins, which carry ten or nine passengers respectively. The Vietnamese group also requested improvements for its Diamond Evo 8/10 cabins by adding new options including a glass floor built by Sigma Composite, which is the POMA group’s cabin division.
Construction began recently and the cabins are expected to be launched by the end of 2017 or beginning 2018. The goal is for the cable cars to be ready for the Spring Festival in February 2018, which can attract up to 70,000 visitors.
