Energy production, energy management and energy eficiency are at the heart of today’s challenges and at the core of Grenoble-Isère’s industrial and innovation ecosystem. Effectively addressing this subject, from energy production (both centralized and intermittent), to smart energy management (including storage, transmission and home management), necessitates a combination of experience and expertise in various industrial sectors which have always been at the crux of Grenoble’s economic development.
Grenoble-Isère boasts assets of national and European standing in New Energy Technology as well as in Information Technology, which, together, will enable industrial leaders as well as local governments to focus on what are considered to be among the most promising ields for economic development in the coming years, i.e. smart electricity and energy eficiency.
