Grenoble, France, July 20th, 2009 – Eco-Coating project launches full-scale experimental site for photocatalytic coating

In the course of three nights (20-22 July) the partners in the Eco-Coating project applied a photocatalytic coating to the sound barrier along a stretch of the Grenoble ringroad, opposite the Potié bridge in Saint Martin d’Hères. Eco-Coating aims to assess the anti-pollution properties of photocatalytic coating developed by Ecomat, particularly for combating contamination from volatile organic compounds and nitrogen-oxide (NOx), following very satisfactory laboratory tests (90% NOx and 98% NO eliminated).
