AEPI and TENERRDIS to Welcome a Colorado Delegation to Explore Collaborations in Solar Photovoltaics and the Smart Grid October 19th to 23rd, 2009 separator

Back in March 2009, a French delegation made up of new energy technology experts from Grenoble-Isere spent a full week in Colorado. Today, key players from the state are welcomed in our region in order to continue their investigation of concrete partnership opportunities.

In the course of three nights (20-22 July) the partners in the Eco-Coating project applied a photocatalytic coating to the sound barrier along a stretch of the Grenoble ringroad, opposite the Potié bridge in Saint Martin d’Hères. Eco-Coating aims to assess the anti-pollution properties of photocatalytic coating developed by Ecomat, particularly for combating contamination from volatile organic compounds and nitrogen-oxide (NOx), following very satisfactory laboratory tests (90% NOx and 98% NO eliminated).

DENVER, COLORADO and GRENOBLE FRANCE, -- A high-tech delegation from France’s Grenoble area (Rhone-Alpes region) spent an “energetic” week in the Denver area for the sustainability conference, meetings and exchanges with Coloradan companies, research institutes, clusters and top officials. Both Colorado and the Grenoble region have remarkable assets in new energy technologies.
