ESONN’12: European School On Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies

ESONN is a three-week course aimed at providing training for graduate students, postdoctoral and junior scientists from universities and laboratories, all around the world, in the field of Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies. The academic and practical courses will cover aspects such as the elaboration, characterization and functionalities of nano-objects. The program emphasizes the role of laboratory courses (half of the program is devoted to practical work).

Metals Homeostasis 5th International IMBG Meeting

The Institute of Metals in Biology of Grenoble (IMBG) is organizing its 5th biannual International Meeting from the 17th to the 21st of September 2012. This year, the meeting is dedicated to "Metals homeostasis",
The purpose of this meeting is to attract and gather worldwide scientists from chemistry to biology in order to build-up a new place for international scientific exchanges and collaborations. A two-day Advanced Courses is preceding the Conferences to allow young scientists to improve their knowledge in some aspects of Metals Homeostasis

2012 International Semiconductor Conference Dresden-Grenoble

The main areas covered by the conference will be in the field of Materials, Devices and Systems Science, Engineering and Architectures and their Characterization.

Grenoble and Dresden are the two major European Semiconductor Research, Development and Production sites. In the preceeding editions of 2009 and 2011, the conference was held in Dresden and named “Semiconductor Conference Dresden”. The objective of the future ISCDG is to enhance the visibility of both cities international excellence.
The 2012 ISCDG will be held in Grenoble for the first time. The venue will be alternating in Grenoble and Dresden every other year.
